Plate and frame filter press machines are generally used to remove solid particles from food liquids such as olive oil, wine, and must, to eliminate turbidity, and to completely clarify the product. The most critical reason for choosing these systems, also known as "sheet filters" or "paper filters" in the industry, is that the solid substances remaining in food contain organic particles. Plate Filter Types and Operating Principles

Depending on your plant's production density and automation needs, our plate filters are manufactured in three different models:

  • Manual Plate Filters: Plate shifting, plate clamping, and filter sheet/paper cleaning processes are completely performed by the operator (manual labor). It is highly economical for small-scale, boutique productions.

  • Semi-Automatic Plate Filters: Plate shifting and hydraulic clamping processes are done automatically with the help of the control panel. The cleaning process of the plates is carried out by the operator.

  • Fully Automatic Plate Filters: Plate shifting, clamping, and plate cleaning processes are carried out completely via the control panel (PLC) without human touch, with full automation.

 

Plate Filter Dimensions and Capacity Options

We offer flexible plate variations according to your production capacity:

  • 200x200 mm Plate Filter: It has variations between 5 to 40 plates and is ideal for laboratories, R&D centers, and boutique producers.

  • 400x400 mm Plate Filter: With a wide capacity option from 20 to 100 plates, it meets the high-volume filtration needs of medium and large-scale industrial facilities.
